For the second time in a month, world No. 1 e-kata fighter James De los Santos recorded another single day haul of three gold medals as he ruled three karate online tournaments.
Results from three finals came out Monday night as De los Santos won the third edition of the Athletes E-Tournament, the third leg of the Okinawa E-Tournament World Series, and the 3rd Dutch Open E-Tournament.
The three wins improved his gold medal haul to 33 with a couple more before year 2020 ends.
“Not once, but twice,” said De los Santos, referring to his earlier triple gold in a single day early this month. “To score another hat trick, by winning my 31st, 32nd, and 33rd gold medal, is another personal record and achievement before this year ends.”

Is the No. 1 world ranking already in the bag for online karate sensation James De los Santos?
It is no secret that De los Santos wants to end the year on top of the e-kata male senior’s category, but he said he is focused on winning more gold medals in his remaining events.
“I have six tournaments left for this year… in God’s will. I’ll just do my best,” said the 30-year-old De los Santos, who bagged his 30th gold medal late last week when he ruled the third leg of the Champions Trophy World Series.
