The Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security is pleased to announce the release of the NIMS Implementation Activities for Schools and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) issued by the US Department of Education s Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools (OSDFS)
As Recipients of Federal Preparedness funding through the USDOE s Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) and Emergency Management for Higher Education Discretionary Grant Program, local educational institutions and schools are required to fulfill NIMS implementation activities in close coordination with members of their local government and emergency response community. Islamabad: Jazz, the country s leading 4G operator and internet and broadband service provider, has collaborated with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) to digitally transform 1,652 TCF schools, to benefit over 266,000 students in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
It will also help replace aging tablets and mobile phones that run the TCF’s School Management Application allowing principals to collect data more efficiently. According to details, the three years collaboration will introduce a blended learning curriculum, revamp of computer labs, and a digital school management system.
By revamping the existing computer labs and installing 500 battery-powered audio-visual rooms, TCF will introduce a new, cutting-edge digital literacy curriculum designed for blended learning. ....

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Jazz, Pakistan’s number one 4G operator and the largest internet and broadband service provider, has collaborated with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) to digitally transform 1,652 TCF schools, positively impacting over 266,000 students across Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
