Investigators say on June 2nd, 2019 around 2:45 p.m. Williams and a co-conspirator robbed a victim at gunpoint in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Charlotte. Detectives say Williams pointed his gun at the victim and demanded they hand over their keys, phone, and wallet before telling the victim to lay on the sidewalk or he would shoot them. Williams and his co-conspirator then fled the scene in the victim’s Jeep Grand Cherokee before crashing the stolen vehicle shortly after, and were both taken into police custody, according to a news release. ....

A federal prosecutor says the stash is suspected drug money and could have ties to a notorious East Coast gang. On Friday, the feds filed a warrant to actually arrest the money.
