Douglas High School band gets back to practices before school starts
Students said band practice looked a lot different last year because of coronavirus but they say this year they are prepared to work hard and are ready to get back in front of a crowd.

One North Alabama high school band is getting its rhythm back!
That s after members were not able to have band camp last year because of coronavirus. It s so much fun. I absolutely love it, especially because it s my senior year. I want to make it the best it can be. I want to make this band the best it can be, said Kiran Norton, a senior at Douglas High School.

Decatur Church of Christ helps with Fultondale tornado relief
The Decatur Church of Christ went to Fultondale to help with tornado relief efforts.

One North Alabama church did their part on Tuesday to help those affected by the tornado.
The team from Decatur Church of Christ left for Fultondale early Tuesday afternoon. They don t know who they ll be helping or what exactly they ll be doing, but they re ready to lend a hand. It was the church s 26th service trip.

So, we want to help with things like that, said Decatur Church of Christ Outreach Minister Cody Michael.
