Players have blocked access for a documentary after a standoff with the NRL. The player revolt against Peter V’landys and the NRL administration has cost the players around $140,000 after the production of a behind-the-scenes State of Origin documentary was cancelled at the 11th hour. The NRL has been working for two years to try and get the documentary off the ground, and it seemed as though the planets were aligning for it to happen this year.
