(Photo by Joshua Spaulding) ( click for larger version) February 17, 2021BENNINGTON The Gorham alpine boys skied to a fifth place finish overall at the Division IV championships, held last Monday, Feb. 8, at Crotched Mountain in Bennington. In the morning giant slalom, it was Nolan York leading the charge for the Huskies with a time of 1:11.64 for 11th place overall. Teegan LeClerc finished in a time of 1:13.65 for 18th place, while Lex Mayerson was the third Husky finisher, placing 21st in 1:14.3. ....

Wellington reporter, NewstalkZB A Porirua man has been accused of tampering with evidence in relation to the murder of Rau Tongia - making him the fifth person charged over the death. The 19-year-old appeared in Wellington District Court this afternoon charged with being an accessory after the fact to Tongia s murder by cleaning a silver-barrelled shotgun to help another defendant avoid conviction.
