Boston Mountain Rural Health Center will hold a drive-thru vaccine clinic for the Marion County area tomorrow. The event will be held May 14 at the Yellville City Park from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. or while supplies last. Vaccines will be available for everyone ages 18 and up. Participants will need to provide a photo ID during check in, but will not need to provide insurance information or proof of citzienship or legal status. Akins of Flippin, was taken into custody Wednesday in connection with an altercation in early December in which he and his alleged female victim were both stabbed. According to the probable cause affidavit, law enforcement was dispatched to a residence along West Fourth Street in Yellville in the early morning hours of Dec. 7 for an ongoing physical domestic incident. Marion County Sheriff’s Office dispatch advised a male individual, later identified as Akins, was holding a knife to a female’s side. A short time later, the responding officers were advised Akins had reportedly stabbed the female victim. This report was followed by a second advising Akins has reportedly stabbed himself. ....
