VENEZULA – Two family members of the “Citgo 6″ found out late Friday that their loved ones are now on house arrest.
“I can’t overstate what a relief this is because of how difficult this has been for them physically and emotionally after how much they’ve suffered while being imprisoned all these years,” daughter of one of the Citgo 6, Gabriela Zambrano-Hill, aid.

El Paso County extends last call for alcohol under loosened COVID-19 restrictions

Last call for alcohol in El Paso County has moved back to 1 a.m. as changes to the state s color-coded COVID-19 restriction dial allow serving drinks later.
El Paso County is in the yellow range on the dial and gains the new hours, and other loosening of restrictions, under changes announced by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Monday night.
For local bars, the change represents a huge step in the direction of normalcy.

Brian Sicknick was an officer with the Capitol Police who died Thursday evening after he “was injured while physically engaging with protesters,” the USCP said in a statement announcing his death.
The USCP said he had “returned to his division office and collapsed” and died from his injuries after being transported to an area hospital. He is only the fourth USCP officer to die in the line of duty since the department’s founding in 1828.
The exact circumstances that led to Sicknick’s death are not readily available, but there are reports, citing law enforcement sources, that Sicknick was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher during the chaos. ....
