Classic cars will line the streets and there will be live music and vendors. The downtown shops and restaurants will also be open.
The event is free.
Parents Night Out
The Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department is hosting their monthly Parents Night Out on Friday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. This month will feature volleyball at the gym located at 1851 Griffin Road.
Children ages six to 12 can be dropped off for a fun filled evening with crafts, games, a movie and pizza party.
One the recipients of a full scholarship was the Cash family, who owns Dirty Dog Organics Farm in Leesburg. They couldn’t find a good fit for schooling for their special needs daughter, Leila, until they took a tour of Create Conservatory.
“You have no idea how excited I am,” Aubrey Cash said. “We are adoptive parents to our special needs daughter and she has some challenges to overcome, and those needs just weren’t being met. But it’s like the stars aligned when we met Nikki and found the school. It was a natural decision and I’m beyond excited for this opportunity.”
