New this morning a deputy involved shooting. In pasco county. One man is dead. And a pregnant woman caught in the middle, managed to escape. It happened last night in holiday near us 19. Neighbors say they heard a couple fighting in the house around seven last night. They heard a man yell that he had a gun. And thats when they called 911. When deputies arrived, a pregnant woman ran outside. And said the man inside had knives and guns. Deputies also saw the man with a knife. And heard the man say he was . Not going to surrender and deputies would have to kill him. Deputies tried negotiating with him for about two hours. Then, they used tear gas. And the swat team entered. They tased him. And he still charged at deputies. Thats when they opened fire ,killing him. Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco the mans name has not been released because next of kin has not been notified. Felony charges for this fire. The Fire Marshalls Office sited arson after gasoline was found in the master bedroom. Prosecutors cant prove who put it there. There was no evidence or indication that that gasoline was put there that day to start that fire. It could have come from anywhere. The mother of the boys maintains her husbands innocence and so does her father, an attorney who asked the state attorney not to pursue charges.
