Dalam satu hantaran di Facebook pada Sabtu, Timbalan Perdana Menteri berkata, ia bagi menjaga sensitiviti serta nama baik ahli keluarga perajurit yang terlibat sehingga pihak Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) selesai menjalankan siasatan mengenai kejadian itu.

Dead set against possibly collapsing the coalition government in Nelson Mandela Bay, the DA gave in to the UDM’s demand for the position of deputy mayor.
Had the DA stood its grounds and refused the UDM the position insiders say it had eyed for months, that would have possibly led to the party walking out of government a move that could then have paved the way for a change of guard at the Gqeberha City Hall.

Opposition parties have called on the government to address unemployment, corruption and poorly managed state-owned enterprises (SOEs) which they argue are crippling the country’s economy.
“We must start from scratch. Even before Covid-19, our economy was in the doldrums. Our economy faced challenges before Covid-19. Those challenges are still here,” said UDM leader Bantu Holomisa, speaking at the Black Business Summit in Johannesburg on Thursday.
He said load-shedding was interrupting lives and businesses.
