The identity of the man was not released by the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), which tweeted about the suspect s arrest on Monday. The Kingston Central police picked up the suspect a short while ago in a targeted operation. He is to be interviewed in the presence of an attorney. More later, the JCF tweeted. Three other persons were also shot and injured in the drive-by gun attack which left 25-year-old Ian Reid and 28-year-old Oshane Watson, dead. ....

The deceased have been identified by residents as 25-year-old Ian Reid and 28-year-old Oshane Watson. Preliminary reports are that about 1:40pm, persons were seated on a section of Rum Lane when a car was driven up and gunmen exited the vehicle and opened gunfire, hitting five persons. The hoodlums then fled the scene in the waiting motorcar. The wounded persons were taken to hospital, where Reid and Watson were pronounced dead. A probe is ongoing into the latest killings to rock Central Kingston. ....
