A 19-year-old man has been charged in relation to the gun attack on Rum Lane, Central Kingston that left two men dead and three others injured earlier this month.
Ronald Williams, alias Bupsy , a resident of Summerset Avenue, Kingston 16, has been charged with two counts of murder, three counts of shooting with intent, illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
The charges stemmed from the double murder of 25-year-old Ian Reid of Cloverly Road, Kingston, and 29-year-old Oshane Watson, a chef of White Plate Meadows in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Reports from the Kingston Central police were that on Friday, July 2, the men were sitting along the roadway at about 1:40pm, when Williams and another man armed with firearms approached and fired several shots at them.
