Mallzee founder launches sustainable clothing brand
Cally Russell, founder and CEO of retail data specialist Mallzee, has launched a new made-to-order clothing brand called This is Unfolded, in a bid to reduce fabric waste.
This is Unfolded launched its first collection - Collection 01 - last week.
For £65 customers can select a dress, top and casual item, which is then posted to their address. Clothes are only made once an order is placed, meaning that none of the items end up in landfill.
This is Unfolded has partnered with Indian education charity Pratham, which means that every purchase will support a child in education for four months. ....

One factory worker had ‘no idea how to put food on the table’ after work dried up in March 2020.
When Lost Stock launched two months later in May 2020, Cally Russell aimed to sell 10,000 boxes to help garment workers.
They ended up selling over 125,000 in just eight months.
“I always think about things in the scale of the place I was brought up,” Cally explains. “Dunoon has about 10,000 people, so when we started we thought if we could sell maybe 10,000 of these then that’s pretty powerful. ....
