Dear Parks and Rec family,
It is with a heavy heart I must inform you that Butters, our sweet domestic rabbit, will be laid to rest tomorrow afternoon [Friday, April 9].
This past December, our veterinarian informed us he was suffering from chronic kidney failure. Since then he has received medical care, treats and ear scratches to his little hearts content. Recently, we have seen a drastic decline in his health.
He has been a member of the Nature Zone for over 6 years. We invite anyone to stop by today or tomorrow morning if they wish to say goodbye.
