Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh held a Summit in virtual format on 17 December 2020. Both sides held comprehensive discussions on all aspects of bilateral relations, and exchanged views on regional and international issues.

Hasina-Modi talks yield 39-point joint statement 640 DHAKA, Dec 17, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh and India today issued a 39-point joint statement as their premiers held virtual talks, described by both sides as “comprehensive” touching upon all aspects of bilateral relations and respective views on regional and international issues. The statement highlighted 10 major issues which it said featured the talks between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her counterpart Narendra Modi, with a generalized review of bilateral ties featuring the beginning point of the communiqué.
