Resident associations, builders pitch in to nurse Covid patients × With the healthcare system coming under pressure as the country battles the second wave, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and some builders are pitching in by setting up Covid care centres in collaboration with health professionals. In fact, some malls have also collaborated with local authorities for vaccination drives. Such facilities are being equipped with oxygen cylinders and concentrators to help Covid patients with mild symptoms. Real estate developer M3M Grouphas collaborated with Indian Air Force to set up a 150-bed Covid Care Centre at Gurugram to provide food and medical facilities, including oxygen, at one of its apartment complexes.
