Election day is upon us, and polling stations across Wales have been welcoming voters to decide who will form the next Welsh Government.
Polling stations are open until 10pm but unlike previous years, counting and declarations will take place the following day due to rules designed to ensure the safety for those working to count and verify ballots.
If you re heading out to vote don t forget to take a mask and your own pen or pencil.
We ll be bringing you all the coverage of the counts and the results tomorrow.

Alyn Waters walk: access for all and wildflowers

Grade: Easy, no stiles but with a steep slope
At more than 400 acres, Alyn Waters is the largest country park in Wrexham and lies either side of the River Alyn.
Woodland, grassland and riverside trails are way marked to encourage visitors to explore the diversity of the Gwersyllt and Llay sides of the park.
There are purpose built ‘access for all’ paths and cycle ways providing safe cycling for all the family. Most of the paths are wide and surfaced, and offer excellent access for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Please be aware that there is £1 charge for parking at Alyn Waters, which is used towards the upkeep of the park. Dogs are welcome on this walk but please keep your dogs under control. ....

Police ask public for help locating missing woman from Gwersyllt
North Wales Police have launched an appeal for help locating a woman reported missing from the Gwersyllt area.
Police say 35 year old Christine Bennett may be in Alyn Waters Country Park.
Local officers have circulated the appeal along with the top image, saying: “Missing from the Gwersyllt area of Wrexham .”
“35 year old Christine Bennett. Described as being 5’1”, of medium build with brown/red hair.”
“An area of particular interest may be Alyn Waters Country Park.”
