(KFVS) - An online petition demanding the resignation of Missouri Senator Josh Hawley now has more 44,000 signatures. The movement stems from Hawley’s objections to the Electoral College results. It was started by someone right here in Cape Girardeau. “As constituents we are not happy about the way Hawley has used his position,” said Aaron Lerma. Lerma created this petition demanding Senator Josh Hawley’s resignation. “We’re demanding the resignation of Josh Hawley for inciting violence at our nation’s capital, and for his attempt to overthrow the election results from 2020,” he said. ....
