This training is addressed to all professionals, who:
· Are working or planning to work in humanitarian contexts and/or in the area of education in humanitarian settings;
· Are interested in acquiring a good understanding of key EiE principles, concepts and operational approaches and learn how to set-up, implement and monitor and evaluate a EiE project in partnership with all relevant stakeholders in humanitarian settings;
· Want to be equipped with an extensive set of key skills, competence and tools to assess, identify and respond to lack of access to education during the emergency as well as promoting preventive actions.

Learning materials distribution: 190,354 children (for Grades 1 and 2 student workbooks 8 per child; for Grade 3 and 4- student workbooks 10 per child) were distributed in over 30 camps to support children to continue studying at home,
Capacity building: E-Monitoring Platform Orientation Training and Foundation ToT, in-person was given to Master Trainers across the education sector in Cox’s Bazar.10 different batches received the training. Total number of Master Trainers who attended the Foundation ToT 172; E-Monitoring Platform Orientation Training 166.
Quality Benchmark Workshop – for Teachers Professional Development under the LCFA was conducted. 19 key stakeholders from different organizations attended via in-person modality and 13 key stakeholders from rest of the organizations attended via online-modality on 31st January 2021. ....

Kaduna SUBEB to spend N17.6bn on UBE projects, N408.6m on training

Kaduna Dec. 21, 2020 The Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) will spend N17.6 billion on Universal Basic Education (UBE) intervention projects and a N408.6 million on teachers training in 2021.
This is contained in the breakdown of the N20.1 billion earmarked for Kaduna SUBEB for capital projects in the state’s approved 2021 budget, obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna on Monday.
The document showed that out of the 17.6 billion earmarked for UBE projects, N8.6 billion were rolled over from the 2017, 2018, and 2019 projects.
NAN reports that the Board opened the financial bids for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 UBE/SUBEB intervention projects expected to begin early 2021 on Nov. 11. ....
