New Delhi: As Delhi’s hospitals were making desperate calls for oxygen and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal handling of the COVID-19 crisis came under sharp scrutiny, the ruling partyâs spokespersons and government-aligned media found new scapegoats this week.
On Tuesday evening, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that some hospitals were left with âjust a few hours of oxygenâ. Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia posted a list of hospitals with the number of hours left for their oxygen supply to run out.

Healthcare service provider Fortis Healthcare on Thursday took to Twitter to seek help from chief ministers of Rajasthan and Haryana and central ministers for allowing supply of an oxygen tanker from Bhiwadi in Rajasthan to its hospital in Haryana.
Fortis Healthcare said Fortis Hospital in Haryana has only 45 minutes of oxygen left and tagged Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Piyush Goyal. In another tweet, it also tagged Prime Minister s Office for help.

New Delhi, April 22 : Amid the shortage of oxygen supply, Apollo Hospital s Joint Managing director Sangita Reddy has demanded a green corridor for the movement of oxygen tankers to the hospitals.
In a series of tweets, she has tagged the Prime Minister office, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Piyush Goyal to help as she earlier alleged that the Haryana Police was creating hurdles. As I tweet, an oxygen tanker is outside the gate of Air Liquide Panipat plant at IOCL and he is not being allowed inside Haryana police are stopping it & not letting the oxygen out of Haryana. Need urgent intervention, she said.
