On Friday, police said they were investigating a report that an off-duty officer may have been present at the April 24 event at Kiwanis Park.
In an emailed statement on Friday, police said all participation at the event was still being reviewed, including the report about the off-duty officer, and any steps it would take as an employer would depend on the result of its public health and Police Act investigations.
The officer had not returned to work since the rally, according to police.
