NEW HAVEN A “trespasser incident” on the Amtrak rails near New Haven prompted delays of up to almost three hours Thursday morning for one train, according to the rail company.
Amtrak said at 5:25 a.m. that Train 66 was stopped east of New Haven because of the incident, without further elaboration.
There was no immediate word on the extent of injuries to the person. Officials did not immediately return a request for additional information. ....
