Rather than a museum piece, Rob Glaubitz considers opera a contemporary art form that can connect deeply with life as we know it.
I think opera is still very relevant today and has something to say to modern audiences. That s one of my reasons and my passions for doing modern opera, said Glaubitz, artistic director of Painted Sky Opera. I try to find something that is relevant to today s society in every work that we do.
