JACKSON TWP. – The Stark County Health Department will be moving all COVID-19 vaccine clinic operations back to the health department’s main offices at 7235 Whipple Ave. NW beginning July 6.
The department has utilized the Whipple-Dale Centre building in partnership with the Stark Board of Developmental Disabilities since mid-January. The clinic saw tens of thousands of vaccines administered to residents in Stark County.
The department began the Whipple-Dale Centre clinics in the middle of winter with some of the most vulnerable populations in the county. Since then, more than 88 volunteers have put in 5,700 hours of time administering vaccines.
Residents wanting to schedule an appointment (those 12 or and older) can schedule through ArmorVax.com and on the mobile app for Apple and Android devices. Those that are minors, 12- to 17-year-olds, must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian to their vaccine appointment.

She s an ambassador to the teaching profession and to Plain Local Schools. Bobbi Scott is the perfect choice for this award.
Scott, 57, will retire at the end of this school year after a 35-year career as an English teacher, all with Plain Local Schools.
