Rezally Ramatan, 32, pleaded guilty before Magistrate Jessica Ombou Kakayun to trying to steal the compressor belonging to Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad at the back of the building at 2.45am on June 15. Inspector Albert Basiri, prosecuting, informed the court that a police report was lodged by a complainant who found through the closed-circuit television footage of a man attempting to steal the compressor. Razmael Abdul Rajak pleaded guilty before Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles to having the gadgets belonging to one Zulamin Azmir at a house in Kg Kalansanan, Inanam, at 3.40pm on May 29. The court heard from the prosecution that Razmael was arrested by police, who acted on information and found the stolen handphones in his possession. ADVERTISEMENT Razmael had committed an offence under Section 411 of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of between six months and five years and liability of a fine on conviction. ....

Judge Abu Bakar Manat meted out the sentence to Rupia @ Rubee Gindol, who pleaded guilty to receiving the money from one Berry Yong Soon, 35, at the CIMB bank in Api-Api Centre, here between 2018 and 2019. The charge stated that Rupia as a Community Development Assistant at the Sabah General Welfare Services Department, received the money from Yong, who has relation to her official work at the said department. ....
