Thomas Moore, 42, went with his friend Ricky Marshall to retrieve £10 Mr Marshall was owed by Matthew Constantinou for cannabis. Norwich Crown Court heard the pair turned up at Constantinou s address, in Antingham Drive, North Walsham, where he lived with his mum, to get the cash back. But they were chased away by Constantinou before ending up on Bacton Road, where Mr Moore was fatally stabbed in the neck.

ENTERTAINMENT venues that have closed to the public tend to be gone for good. So the plan to reopen Bournemouth’s Palace Court Theatre – also known as the Playhouse – constitutes a dramatic comeback. It is 35 years since a lack of public support seemed to have brought down the curtain on the building s days as a theatre and cinema. It became a place of worship, over the objections of Bournemouth council and many supporters. Now Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) has acquired the venue – a neighbour of Bournemouth’s Premier Inn on Hinton Road and Westover Road. It plans to restore the 1930s art deco building as a teaching space with performance venue, complete with 400-seat auditorium that will welcome the public as well as students.

Police were called to a business premises on Skip Lane, King s Lynn following reports of a social gathering . Norwich Crown Court heard there  seemed to be a party going on in one of the rooms at the address following the call at about 10pm on July 11 last year. Tomas Petratis, 34, who rented the building, was among those found by police at the address.

Hopton man Kyle Nunn staged kidnap to get cash from family

Kyle Nunn made harrowing phone calls, sent Facebook messages and made video calls featuring two hammer-wielding men in a derelict building, Norwich Crown Court heard. The 29-year-old told his family he had been hit with a hammer and knee-capped - and said if the £400 was not paid, the beatings would continue. Joe Bird, prosecuting, told the court that the family could get £200 and Nunn later turned up at Norwich Railway Station where money was handed over.
