The Bulldogs traveled to New Castle Friday night to take on the Coal Ridge Titans, Battle Mountain and Summit Tigers, before then turning right around on Saturday to hit the road for a quad dual against the Gunnison Cowboys, Delta Panthers, and Alamosa Moose in Delta. ....
Moffat County wrestling sure knows how to bounce back in a big way. Nearly one week after a tough weekend in Palisade in a quad dual, the Bulldogs hit the mat Thursday night in Steamboat for a triangular dual against the host Sailors and the Middle Park Panthers. Against the Sailors and Panthers, Moffat County cruised to two dominant wins, defeating the Panthers 60-24, before then sinking the Sailors 53-18 on the Sailors’ Senior Night. Opening up the triangular dual against the Panthers, Moffat County raced out to a quick 36-0 lead winning the first six matches of the night. ....

Erku / Post Independent) Keeping things rolling early in the 2021 season, the Moffat County Bulldogs’ wrestling team hit the road Saturday afternoon for a triangular dual against the host Rifle Bears and Battle Mountain Huskies and swept the two schools in impressive fashion to move to 5-2 on the year. Against the Bears, Moffat County cruised to a 54-15 win, before then downing the Huskies 52-9, capping off a strong weekend of wrestling for the Bulldogs. ....
Back on the mat for the first time in nearly two weeks, the Moffat County Bulldogs’ wrestling team beat the Grand Valley Cardinals and lost to the Meeker Cowboys in a triangular dual at Meeker High School Thursday night. The Bulldogs took down the Cardinals in commanding fashion, 54-18, before then falling to the Cowboys in a tight contest, 42-33. The Bulldogs leave Meeker with a record of 3-2 on the season. Moffat County started their afternoon off on the right foot with the commanding win over the Cardinals. Sophomore Billy Lawton put the Bulldogs in the win column early, thanks to a pinfall win over Cristian Barragon. ....

The incident happened on Palm Drive, just south of Beacon Way at 7:41 p.m. Desert Hot Springs spokesperson Doria Wilms said the motorist involved in the incident remained on the scene and was cooperating with investigators.
