Johannesburg - The State Capture Commission is expected to hear further evidence from Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) former group chief executive, Lucky Montana on Tuesday.
The commission will also hear evidence from the head of the legal division at Prasa, Martha Ngoye and Prasa employee, Tiro Holele in the day.
As the deadline looms for the commission to conclude its hearings, there will also be an afternoon session on Tuesday.
The commission is scheduled to hear Transnet related evidence from the Former Transnet group chief executive, Siyabonga Gama at 4pm. ....

Johannesburg - Former Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) group chief executive Lucky Montana has called on evidence leader Advocate Vas Soni to recuse himself from the Zondo Commission following a line of questioning regarding Montana s properties.
The former Prasa boss became hostile on his sixth day of testimony. “I find myself dealing with an evidence leader who doesn t want to assist the commission. I would argue that the commission made statements that are not factually based.
I think Mr Soni should recuse himself, chair. He has demonstrated signs of being biased and taking sides, Montana said. ....

Former Prasa CEO Lucky Montana wants evidence leader Vas Soni removed from State Capture Inquiry

The former chief executive of the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa), Lucky Montana, told the State Capture Inquiry on Tuesday that evidence leader Vas Soni SC had been approached by a “network” that had forced witnesses to testify against him.
Montana made his sixth appearance before the inquiry, where he was challenged about property transactions he had made with lawyer Riaan van der Walt.
During a previous appearance, Montana claimed that a group close to forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan had forced witnesses to testify against him. O’Sullivan, in September 2015, opened a corruption, fraud and money laundering docket against Montana. ....

Forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan has hit back at former Prasa boss Lucky Montana calling him a “criminal”.
This after Montana told the state capture inquiry on Monday that O Sullivan was the country s “number one criminal” for allegedly leading a campaign to destroy him.
Montana made the accusation against O’Sullivan when he was questioned on allegedly being involved in a corrupt property development venture sponsored by a Prasa service provider, a matter O’Sullivan took a keen interest in and compiled a report on. ....

Johannesburg - Former Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) group chief executive Lucky Montana is expected to return to the State Capture Commission of Inquiry on Monday.
Montana has given damning evidence at the Zondo Commission on numerous occasions.
During his appearance in early May, Montana told deputy chief Justice Raymond Zondo how the ANC created conditions for corruption”.
Following President Cyril Ramaphosa s appearance at the Commission, Montana also called out his party for pretending to support the commission but instead, he claimed, they lied and did not assist in solving the fundamental problem. ....
