Earlier this week, the North Darfur department of the national Empowerment Elimination, Anti-Corruption, and Funds Recovery Committee suspended the activities of the Anhar Organisation for Peace. The decision led to the closure of 16 health centres in camps for the displaced in Kabkabiya, Saraf Omra, and El Fasher localities. ....

In a press conference on Sunday, Empowerment Elimination, Anti-Corruption, and Funds Recovery Committee member Wajdi Saleh said: The committee decided to dismiss 56 judges of various ranks and 26 prosecutors, including heads of public prosecution. Saleh explained that the committee recovered a number of agricultural lands belonging to the family of ousted President Omar Al-Bashir. ....
