Barbara Lee of the East Bay is trying to make it easier for her constituents of color to get vaccinated. On Saturday, the congresswoman announced a coronavirus vaccine campaign in her East Bay district from May 1 to 8. In coordination with a national effort led by the Congressional Black Caucus as well as faith-based and health organizations, the goal is to make vaccines widely available to underserved communities, with clinic locations throughout the East Bay district.
