GREAT FALLS â The City-County Health Department in Great Falls is offering an incentive for people to receive the COVID vaccine.
The CCHD is hosting vaccination clinics at Montana ExpoPark on Friday and Saturday (May 21/22). The first 1,000 people to get vaccinated will receive a voucher for a free carnival wristband at the Mighty Thomas Carnival during the Montana State Fair (July 30-August 7).
The CCHD said in an email that the wristband can be used any day of fair. The offer is for anyone who qualifies for the vaccine under the CDC guidelines. The CCHD also noted that this is available to anyone coming from any county. ....

GREAT FALLS â The City-County Health Department in Great Falls says that COVID-19 vaccinations are now available in Cascade County for all people age 12 and older.
Following new recommendations from the FDA and CDC, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is available to all persons age 12+. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines remain available to all persons age 18+.

Cascade County health officials are winding down their mass COVID-19 vaccination events. The county is shifting to a more targeted vaccination strategy with hopes of getting more doses in the arms of young people in order to reach herd immunity.
Cascade County Health Officer Trisha Gardner says the county health department’s mass vaccination site will remain open through the end of the month for those who received their first shot there and need the final jab.

The Montana Veterans Affairs Health System holds a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the Holiday Village Mall on Tuesday morning, February 9, 2021. The VA planned to vaccinate 500 veterans in the first of four vaccine clinics.
The Cascade County Board of Health moved to approve a mask mandate effective immediately at a special meeting held Wednesday night. The order includes several exceptions, including for children under five and for people maintaining social distance, among others.
Cascade County implemented the mandate following Montana Gov. Gianforte s lifting of the statewide mandate last week. The county previously did not have a mask mandate but had followed the statewide directive. ....
