TOKYO, July 30 (Xinhua) New Zealand dominated rowing regatta at the Tokyo Olympic Games with three gold medals in pocket as the event concluded on Friday.
The Kiwis triumphed in the men s eight, women s single as well as women s pair, plus silver in the women s eight and women s double, to top the medals table.
As for the win in the men s eight, it was New Zealand s first gold in the event since the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.
New Zealand s Emma Twigg won her first Olympic gold medal by clocking a new Olympic best time, after finishing ninth in her debut Olympic Games at Beijing 2008, and fourth in London and Rio. ....
