also right here on msnbc. from all of our colleagues across the network of nbc news, thank you for staying up late. i ll see you this weekend. ou this weekend. thanks to you at home for joining us this evening, we have some big breaking news, nbc news has now confirmed the former vice president, mike pence has been subpoenaed by special counsel, jack smith. the man who is overseeing the investigation into trump s effort to overturn the results of the 2020. election including the attack on the u.s. capital. the news was first reported by abc news. we don t know exactly what information was sought, in that subpoena, but according to abc it comes after months of negotiations between federal prosecutors and pence s legal team. both the special counsel s office and the spokesman for the former vice president are declining to comment to nbc about this new development. but, this is the first time the former vice president has been subpoenaed in any matters, related to the 2020 ....
