And he basically went on to say that they wont allow the Police Department to get involved in federal Immigration Enforcement and that the mayor is prepared to go to court to block any federal activity that he believes is unconstitutional to undocumented immigrants with criminal records. This is in response to president elect Donald Trumps promise to deport millions of undocumented immigrants with criminal records. A lot of students are scared. Now, they dont know what the uncertainty is for today and tomorrow. They dont know if tomorrow they are going to need to pack and go back to mexico with their parents.
