Two young fundraisers invited for VIP tour of Furness General Hospital after raising more than £3,000
Emme-Rose and Lilli-Mae have raised money for Young Bay Hospitals Charity
Two young fundraisers who have donated more than £3,000 to charity have been invited for a VIP tour of their local hospital.
Emme-Rose Deakin, 6, ran a mile a day in January, raising £1,443 for the Bay Hospitals Charity.
Then in February, eight-year-old Lilli-Mae Archer took on a 5K a day challenge and raised a further £1,705.
To say thank you for their fundraising efforts, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust chief nurse and deputy chief executive Sue Smith OBE has invited Emme-Rose and Lilli-Mae to visit Furness General Hospital for a tour. ....
