Roscommon-based Enchanted Croí Theatre has recently announced that its production of the new contemporary folk musical ‘In the Midst of Plenty’ will embark on a 13-venue nationwide tour through spring and summer 2023. The show is the work of California-based law professor and writer/composer-lyricist Amy Day, who was inspired to write the show in 2019 after visiting the National Famine Museum at Strokestown Park while on a day off from teaching a course in international children’s rights at the Irish Centre for Human Rights at the University of Galway. The cast includes Galway native Martin Gilligan and Galway-based singer-songwriter Tracy Bruen.

SPOILER ALERT:
Do not read this story unless you’ve seen Season 1, Episode 8 of Disney Plus’ “WandaVision.”
After eight episodes, six distinct television eras, and apparently two rival Visions, Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” first and possibly only season is coming to a close this Friday on Disney Plus. But we still have
so many questions that this twist-strewn superhero TV show has yet to answer. That s because whereas the previous
WandaVision commercials were concerned with pivotal events of Wanda s past, the Yo-Magic commercial may instead reveal the dark truth of what is happening to Wanda right now, and why the Soul Stone may be connected.
