近日，港华燃气有限公司（01083.HK）及其母公司香港中华煤气有限公司（00003.HK）发布联合公告，宣布港华燃气已完成向上海燃气有限公司增资，直接持有后者25%的股权。这是两大城燃巨头深度联手的第一步，根据双方去年签署的交叉持股协议，后续上海燃气也将持有港华燃气25%的股权，实现“双向进入”。
在竞争激烈的城燃行业，这是十分罕见的合作模式。港华燃气是内地最具规模的城市燃气之一，香港中华煤气、港华燃气2020年在中国内地的总售气量达269亿立方米。上海燃气在上海本地的终端市场占有率达95%以上。截至2019年，全市天然气供应规模近98亿立方米。
