yeah, because, obviously, someone who comes from an upper class family in india has everything in common with someone who comes from, i don t know, a working-class family in the yucatan. it s only something that essentially and inherently racist assumption that anyone with darker skin tone has something in common and they belong in anachronism. right? and it s the condescension this is a fatal flaw from the left. this condescending view of other people, you are part of the bi-pop community. the last people who know what that is that community. i think that there is there has to be some, you know, at least understanding like at least there is an actual outreach that s actually happening and there is an attempt at respect for that. now, you have the flip side. we are trashing democrats and then at the same time we have a party that has not we can trash yeah, to latinos. we are trashing everyone
but the messaging that national narrative about democrats being terrible on crime and the economy all of this, smeared some very good moderate democrats on long island, robert zimmerman and laura were painted with this broad brush. they are not what you want to call crazy progressives. moderate, sensible, fiscally responsible democrats and they were swept out. lee zeldin, you know him. suffolk county guy. but he did surprisingly well for a guy affiliated with trump known as a conservative. it looks like he has got within four points. yes. that s right. and that was i kind of guessed it would be about that but is he a long island guy. he comes from a regular working class family. and he ran i have to hand it to him he ran a flawless campaign. brian: real quick, your prediction on the senate. do you think it s going to come down to georgia? georgia and nevada it looks like will be the two states. brian: nevada and laxalt up. two years ago with the
out for his which plans, friends. or a guy from a working class family, who understands what wisconsin eyes are going through each and every day, and wants to make your lives better, who is that knows what it s like to work hard with his hands t like to work hard wiwho was moms like to work hard as a teacher. don t fall for it, wisconsin. you deserve better. you deserve a senator like mandela barnes. this state, and we are focused on the labor and working families. that s where this campaign comes down to. i m not going to get caught up in the national narrative, this is about how we improve lives about people who have been struggling in the state of wisconsin. i have a working class background, i come from a working class family, and it is the same exact people in households and neighborhoods like mine, all across the state who deserve better. for people like ron johnson, as you mentioned, who would rather cater to the fringes of his party, the far-right. a person that would be so audacious as to try to send fake electors to mike pence to try to overturn our democracy. that s also what is at stake at this election. that s exactly what we are fighting for. i want to keep fighting for the same things that i have fought for in a legislator, as an organizer, and now as lieutenant governor. just to be specific, because it s easy to talk about labels, progressive, right, left, in 20
key thing right now is that as we are in this transition, the choices we make now, the policy choices we make now, whether we actually take more action, to lower prices, and make things more affordable for families, these will help determine how successful we are actually making that transition to a place where we are in more stable growth, without giving up all of those economic gains that we made. we have this complicated, massive economy, though, right? for a ceo of a fortune 500 company, for an hourly worker, for a senior citizen shopping at a grocery store, each one has a vastly different economic reality. so, when this white house is considering what leverage to pull, what s support to give, what economy do you look at? well, this president, our team, and our entire focus has been on a typical working class family. and is that family in a position where they can achieve
