Drug possession in garage
JERSEY SHORE Travis Nichols, 36, of 314 Oak St., Jersey Shore allegedly had crystal meth and marijuana in the garage behind his home when Tiadaghton Valley Police searched it Jan. 19.
Justin Segura, a Tiadaghton Valley Police Officer, said police investigated the area after receiving calls about a woman allegedly banging on the garage doors and yelling about a man having meth and “doing stuff” in the garage.
The man, Nichols, allegedly denied having drugs in the garage, called the situation “bull (expletive) and crazy” and walked out of the garage.
“Based off my training and experience, I have learned that people tend to separate themselves from the narcotics, which I believe that this is what Travis was doing,” Segura wrote. ....

MH man charged with assault
WILLIAMSPORT William Shearer, 28, of 1825 Long Run Road, Mill Hall, allegedly struck his ex-girlfriend’s “current acquaintance” in the face several times on Christmas Eve, according to state police at Montoursville.
Shearer did so when the alleged victim held his and his ex-girlfriend’s daughter, according to Trooper Patrick Kineston. District Judge Jerry Lepley sent Shearer a summons for charges of simple assault and harassment.

SNOW SHOE A 63-year-old Frenchville, Pa. man was charged with harassment after an incident that occurred on Jan. 28 along Thomas Street in Snow Shoe, Centre County, state police at Rockview said. ....

LOCK HAVEN A case of vandalism is being investigated by the Woodward Township Police Department.
According to police, they have received calls about individuals driving around and throwing golf balls at residences and cars. Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to contact the Woodward Township Police Department at (570) 858-5676.

LOCK HAVEN The Woodward Township Police Department is looking for someone who has been tampering with exterior Christmas lights, decorations and ornaments. Police say that the crimes have taken place in the Swissdale area of Woodward Township.

Lock Haven man to be sentenced after using counterfeit money to purchase lottery tickets


Travis Scott Condo, 38, Lock Haven, will face Judge Craig P. Miller on Jan. 11.
Condo used counterfeit $20 bills to purchase lottery tickets, according to a complaint filed by officer Gage Fischer of the Lock Haven City Police Department.
Fischer said Condo used the counterfeit bills on Aug. 19 at the Puff’s Discount store at 200 Bellefonte Avenue to purchase approximately $65 of lottery tickets.
Fischer then said he spoke with the Woodward Township Police Department Chief, who told him Condo was involved in a similar incident at Puff N Snuff the same day.
According to Fischer, Woodward officers provided pictures and a description of the suspect in Woodward. Fischer said the pictures were an exact match for Condo. ....
