You could see those crews up on the hillside, closely monitoring this situation as i speak to make sure hot spots dont spark up. Flames shooting into the air in fairfield on monday. One of many fires to burn across the area. I thought the house was going to burn down. Reporter so did many others, as strong winds fueled these flames. Got very close. You can see the flames were literally in their backyard. As i am talking to them, i see the flames come over the top of the hill. Reporter chris engle turning on the sprinklers and life. In fairfield, 30 homes were evacuated and it was just one of many spots where fire put people and their homes in in rodeo, an frightening situation. The wind is going that way from left to right direction. Reporter flames tore through 230 acres of land near the interstate and forced many out of their homes. Just ....
