Holiday Food Drive For Bismarck Kids In BECEP
Bismarck Public Schools is currently putting on a food drive for BECEP (
Bismarck Early Childhood Education Program). Goldstone Realty, Quality Title, and Word Engineering have teamed up to raise money and donations to feed the youngest kids in BPS s school system. If you are feeling extra giving this holiday season, you can donate to the cause!
The food drive is meant to help provide meals for the kids while they are in school. So, they are looking for non-perishable items to make the meals. Another option is to donate money.
The sponsors will even match any cash donation, up to $600! You can either drop off your donation OR your donation can be picked up. ....

Pierce County commissioners elect 2021 officers

Pierce County commissioners elected David Migler and Ashley Berg as chair and vice-chair for the 2021 term in their regular meeting held Dec. 1.
Migler, who serves as the current board chair, represents Pierce County District 5, while Berg represents Pierce County District 3. The board approved both with a unanimous vote.
The commissioners heard from Heart of America Correctional and Treatment Center Administrator Mike Graner, who presented financial and other information from the jail.
Graner told the commissioners the facility saw a $104,189.10 deficit for the month of October. The inmate population for November ranged between 75 and 91 inmates, he noted. The jail booked 12 inmates in November, and 11 remained in custody during the month. ....
