Government. So there are many different approaches. Jimmy carter, for example, wrote a wonderful book of poetry, called always a reckoning. It reflects the man. The good man that he is and the life that he has led, and his insights into the world around him and into the life of the south, for example, where he came from. And some of the contradictions of life in the south. He captures those things in poetry and he talks about his politics, too, in poetry. So yes, in all of those things, president s wrote poetry also did that. Ok. [traffic noises] together we were very small when the Movement Began. Ago, 49 yearss ago, those opposed to the war were in a distinct minority. But over the course of the next six years, we would grow into wherejority to the point the majority of the American People became opposed to the United States being involved in the war in vietnam. We are on the steps of the state capital of wisconsin in madison. This location was significant for two reasons, i think. In the first instant, it is where the first demonstration against the war in vietnam was held in february of 1965. Four years later in 1969 and of0, this was the location the massive antiwar demonstrations against the war in vietnam with tens of thousands of people, so that is why this is significant.
