A housefire was reported around 10:31 p.m. in the city of Willmar, Minnesota, Monday. On their way, firefighters were advised there were still people inside the residence. The home sustained heavy damage and is considered to be unlivable at this time.

Firefighters responded to a house fire around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday in Willmar. According to Willmar Fire Chief Frank Hanson, the fire was successfully put out and all residents of the home were accounted for.
Residents on Second Street Southeast in Willmar and surrounding areas will be able to voice their opinions on whether or not the street should be a one-way once reconstruction is complete. A special meeting is scheduled 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, to take comments.
