Hunt for the Wilderpeople, fetched the second highest price recorded for the suburb – REINZ data shows top billing goes to a house in Arthur Street that sold for $11.15 million in 2018. The massive villa, which had a particularly commanding position in the street, first drew attention in 2017 when it was shunted 15.5m sideways to make room for a second house on the site.
