good friday morning, everyone. i m tahman bradley. and i m reena ninan. we begin with the floods and flames, causing serious threats overnight. in eastern arizona, fire crews on the ground and in the air, are scrambling to put out a fast-moving wildfire. flames broke out about noon, starting at 100 acres and then growing to 2,000 in just a few hours. mandatory evacuations are under way. the cause, still under investigation. from fires to dangerous floods, even in alaska overnight. dozens of guests and employees in denali national park had to be airlifted after floodwaters overtook their lodge. and rock falls forced the closure of the only road into the park. three inches of rain have fallen in the park between anchorage and fairbanks. the worst flooding is in the midwest. president is obama is offering much-needed help to minnesota, where there s been more damage. and more rain and strong winds are on the way. abc s susan saulny has the latest. reporter: relentless
