Dr. Hitchcock with the William Corcoran professor from the university of virginia where he focuses on international, diplomatic and military history of the 20th century, in particular the era of the world wars an the cold war, and in addition to the age of eisenhower dr. Hitchcock is the author of the bitter road to freedom, a new history of the liberation of europe which was a Pulitzer Prize finalist and a winner of the george lewis spear prize and a Financial Times bestseller in the united kingdom.
