In that area. How many structures are in danger at this point . The area evacuated is around 650 homes. There are other communities along that corridor about 12,000 residents live in that area. That particular association has about 650 homes and the one to the northwest of it is about the same number of it residents there. Theyre concerned about any of those residents and communities that are uphill from that area. Its very steep and so if you, as you can see, many of those homes its so steep one home can look over the top of the home in front of it and could be able to see the lake so they all have a lake view. Very steep terrain. Areas that are not developed, the last fire through that mountain that was in 1961 i believe and so just decades and decades an of fuel loading since then and theres tremendous potential for fire in that area. Its the highest risk in our county. It has been for many years even before the past fires weve been experienced. This is identified as one of the high
