City Seeking Applicants For Place 5 City Council Position The Hillsboro City Council met in a regular session Tuesday, December 15, and accepted the resignation of council member Dr. David Skelton, who has served the council in place 5 since May 2017. Dr. Skelton said that he made the decision to resign from the council to avoid a potential conflict of interest. City officials reported that Skelton s daughter has applied for the city manager s position, and the resignation was necessary to allow the council to consider her application.
