Carol Elizabeth Bridger Isaacs


On Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, Carol Isaacs passed away at 81.
Carol was born Sept. 14, 1939, in St. Louis, Mo., to Kenneth and Betty May Herwig. She graduated from Wilkes University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She taught elementary English and reading for several years in the Wilkes-Barre School District.
On Dec. 10, 1968, she married George Isaacs. They raised three children, Betty, Brian and Caroline, and were further blessed with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Carol and George literally traveled the world together. Their voyages took them as far as China, Africa, the Caribbean, the Greek Islands and much of Mexico and Central America. They shared their zest for adventure with their children and grandchildren, sponsoring trips abroad for the entire family. Neal Patrick McNulty


Neal Patrick McNulty, 58, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, in Houston, Texas.
He was born to the late Raymond and Elizabeth Latsko McNulty. He was a graduate of GAR High School and King’s College. Following his time at King’s, Neal moved to Texas, where he worked at Kimberly-Clark and Houston International Airport. Upon the death of his father, Ray, he returned to Pennsylvania to be with family. Neal continued his education at Wilkes-Barre School of Practical Nursing and was then employed for a home health agency and Geisinger Health Systems.
As an avid sports fan, he followed his beloved Mets and Philadelphia Eagles. Music was another joy in his life, with Tom Petty at the top of his list. The true joy in his life, however, was the time he spent with family. He eagerly anticipated trips to Gettysburg with his daughter, Sadie. He provided loving companionship to his mother and was known to be a source of entertainment at family gatherin ....
